					Great hotel in the center of Barcelona.The location is perfect, the rooms are nice and very clean.We need a place to stay for one day and this was perfect for our needs and most important - the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

					Great I really enjoyed the hotel, while super basic amenities I was really there for the city not the hotel. I will note the room never stayed cold and we were made aware there were issues with the ac. Also noted mold in the shower in the bathroom. But our room was always tidy when we came back from a day out

					Love Malda Singular Hotel!! We had an amazing time at Malda Singular Hotel. The rooms were so nice, the service was top of the line. They helped us get our taxi when we needed to check out to go to our cruise port. The desk shared a map of places to go in Barcelona. They had pastries if you wanted a bite before exploring the town. Location is central to many walkable attractions, restaurants, bars, and shops! We would definitely stay again.

					Great location, relaxing decor Great location and lovely decor. Love the rain shower but a shower cap would have been good for us girls! Not the easiest to find as it's inside a gallery and the main gates close at night.

					Lovely stay in a beautifully designed room. Amazing bed, pillows, linens. Was delighted with the room decor and size. Great location, although if we had never been to Barcelona before it might be a little confusing to find if coming in late at night. I had a wonderful stay with my teenager. Will be back 🙂

					Couldn't have asked for a better last minute hotel in Barcelona! They were able to accommodate an early check-in, and even upgraded me for free when I was checking in!! The room is gorgeous with ~12 foot ceilings, crown molding, and floor to ceiling windows and a Juliette balcony. Clean, comfortable, beautiful.While we waited for the room to be done being cleaned, the reception manager chatted with us and gave some great advice for how to best navigate the city for the plans we had that day. He also provided recommendations for other areas to check out, and we really appreciated the local knowledge!Great location - couldn't be more centrally located.

					Worth a stsy Hotel is very quiet. Rooms are immaculate . Very nicely located in the Gothic section. Breakfast could have been better (just a few pastries) but will still good.

					Would stay again! The hotel was beautiful and secure on the second floor. Reception was so good and helped me choose a restaurant which was delicious. Communication before I arrived was very helpful. Having a room, coffee and water for free was a nice touch. Reception help me order taxi, which was appreciated.

					Lovely hotel situated in the heart of the gothic quarter The hotel was quite nice- beautiful decor, comfortable bed, spacious shower. The front deck staff were also very friendly. Daniel checked me in to the hotel and we had a great chat.

					Barcelona Palace We had an amazing stay! The taxi's would not drop us off on the street due to the construction, but I called the hotel and the manager was very kind and so helpful! He even walked down through the gallery corridor to help us find our way! He was also extremely accommodating helping us to retrieve a lost cell phone that was left in the taxi. Very helpful with directions as well! I loved the hotel and the history behind it all! The hotel was very helpful with calling taxi's for us to get picked up. The room was comfortable and gorgeous and in a very walkable area for shopping and restaurants and sightseeing! 🙂 🙂

					Great Boutique Hotel This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the Gothic Quarter with lots of great shopping and restaurants right out the front door. The lobby and rooms are completely remodeled, the guest rooms are modern and very comfortable, especially the beds and linens.

					Helpful staff, comfortable place to land, and wake up to excellent coffee! We truly enjoyed the extra large rooms, free amazing coffee, and comfortable bed. But the best part was the friendly staff. They were extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when we first arrived and the taxi delivered us to a "close but not there" location. The front desk staff came to find us and escorted us back to the hotel. After traveling for 17 hours and not speaking the language the "rescue" made all the difference in our experience!

					Charming Boutique Escape in Barcelona We had a wonderful stay at the Maldà Singular Hotel and would absolutely return. The location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter couldn’t be better—you’re steps from charming alleyways, lively plazas, and fantastic restaurants, but the hotel itself feels like a peaceful hideaway from the bustle outside. Our room was stylish, spotless, and surprisingly quiet given the central location. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved the thoughtful touches—from the complimentary drinks to the warm welcome at check-in. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. If you’re looking for a boutique experience with a perfect mix of history, charm, and comfort, Maldà Singular is a hidden gem. Highly recommended!

					Pleasant short stay Short stay for 1day trip to BCN. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was plenty big for 1 night stay. We were there mostly to shower and sleep. Didn't get the Expedia VIP room upgrade, but they explained it was high season, so we didn't mind. They did offer a late check out, which was nice.

					Lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location Lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location, close to everything but on a quiet street. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable common area makes up for the lack of working space in the otherwise nicely equipped rooms. Restaurants and cafes close by, including all-day service, as are attractive public squares, the Ramblas, and the Liceu metro stop. Would gladly stay here again.

					Lovely boutique hotel Lovely boutique hotel, positioned above a little shopping arcade. Well appointed, clean and elegant rooms. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Will kindly book transfers for you who will arrive outside of the front gate. This is good as it's a couple of minutes rumble from La Rambla with suitcases.

					We stayed in a Grand Deluxe room and paid over €350 for one night, but there wasn’t even a shower cap in the bathroom. However, the hotel is new and well-maintained, and the reception managers were very friendly.The location is excellent!

					Excellent hotel! This place is in a perfect location, everything is walkable and there is so much around. This hotel was quiet and comfortable, and the staff was excellent and anticipated everything we needed. For example the morning we were leaving, there was a big race nearby making it difficult to move about the area by car. They made sure *at check-in* to order a taxi for us in advance that would be prepared to get us to the station on time. I'll definitely stay here again when in Barcelona.

					Wrap up Barcelona time post cruise at a wonderful hotel Our normal post cruise hotel choices are the world wide, international brands. However, with the political unrest in Spain, this time, I searched for high ratings in "safe" areas. We wanted to be in the heart of the city, so when I read about La Singular in the Gothic area, I booked our stay. The exterior blended so much into the row of buildings that it was difficult to find, but once inside and upstairs....IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Large, luxurious room, well appointed and maintained. Good local restaurants, and while the hotel had to call for cabs (Gothic area approved), transportation and independent walking was safe and convenient. It would have been nice to have a dining area in the hotel, but the area made up for it.

					Cute boutique hotel in the Gothic Quarter The Malda is a cute hotel in the Gothic Quarter. It is very clean and spacious. I especially loved the balconies. It is located right in the heart of shopping and restaurants. The amenities were just what we needed and they even provided a converter for the electrical outlets. Our bed was comfortable, the bath towels were big and fluffy, the robe and slippers were a nice touch. The staff is friendly and helpful. They took care of us in arranging a cab for our departure during a busy event. I really enjoyed our stay.

					Awesome Experience Fantastic location, close to Metro and beautiful shops and pubs. During my stay Spain had the electricity outage and the staff went out of their way to ensure all the guests were looked after. The beds are very comfortable, sheets and pillows are virtually new and plush. Bathrooms are super modern and shining. Highly recommended and will come back to stay again.

					Recommend Nice, cozy room in a bustling part of the city. The staff was helpul with great dinner and transportation recommendations that really improved our stay in Barcelona. The room was a bit cramped but suited our needs just fine. The coffee was awesome!

					Perfect location for a 1st time stay in Barcelona! I'm so glad we stayed here for our first trip. It's really in an unbeatable location. Clean, comfortable rooms with great service. We felt very safe walking to and from the hotel in the evening and the rooms were quite spacious and very comfortable to relax in.

					Great location in the middle of everything! This is a very well appointed property in the middle of the amazing Gothic quarter. Staff is very nice. This is walking distance to great restaurants and entertainment. The property itself is very quiet at night even though it’s in the middle of everything.

					Cool boutique hotel in the heart of the Gothic quarter Great boutique hotel, and really nice service. The room was fantastic, with nice style and surprisingly a good size - and the 4 poster bed was stylish as well. Clean, minimalistic. Reception at night by Yana was perfect, really friendly and helplful, and the lobby is a cool little area. There's an espresso maker and kettle in the room,and the bathroom was sheik (and the shower door closed, which - call me old school - i love, as i hate those 1/2 glass things where water always leaks out). I'd skip the 10 EUR breakfast box if i were you, and head outside for breakfast, as there are great little places just 1-3 mintues walk away. I didn't try it myself, but it didn't look worthwhile vs. just going to a local, and there are plenty all around.

					I had the best sleeps of my trip in this hotel. We loved this hotel. We were away for quite a while, and stayed in 15 different cities - this hotel had the most comfortable beds and pillows by far - I am very fussy and I had my best sleeps here! Plus our room was quiet as anything. One would never know one was staying in the busiest part of Barcelona. Being in the Gothic Quarter the hotel is walking distance to many main attractions and transport to further places. We were also able to walk easily to El Born. We really liked this hotel. It is a bit tricky to find initially, but it feels very secure and safe. We especially liked the lovely reception woman, Jana (Yana?), she was so helpful and it was lovely to come back after a day of exploring to her friendly face. We wish her well - we became quite fond of her!

					Everything about the hotel was very good... The only issue is the location does not allow for taxi's to drop you off right in front of the hotel. When we left the hotel staff were able to get taxi's in front to take us to the port.

					A very small boutique hotel in the Gothic District, with large rooms, reasonable prices, and 24 hour front desk service. Our stand alone tub was a nice touch. Entry is from a nondescript single elevator in the Malda Galleries shopping area. Just steps off the Plaça Del Pi and an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and historic sites. Staff was informative and helpful, housekeeping thorough, and little touches like in room Nespresso machines and an in-lobby sitting area with cucumber ice water and basic mixed drinks available were nice additions. We’ll be back next time we pass through Barcelona.

					This was a very comfortable hotel for my 4-night stay in Barcelona. The room was quite large, and divided into a ‘sitting’ area and a ‘sleeping’ area. Big comfortable bed. Nice and spacious shower. I appreciated the Nespresso machine, as well as a kettle. The couch in the ‘sitting’ area did have some pretty glaring and unsightly stains, but I avoided sitting on those. Good proximity to the Ramblas and La Boqueria, and just a short walk to the cathedral or Licieu Metro station. Strangely placed above an indoor mall/shopping center, but easy enough to find. Staff were helpful and allowed me to leave my bag for a couple hours after checkout. Would definitely stay here again.

					We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter had lots of sites to see and shops to visit. Rooms were great. Concierge staff was very helpful and suggested great restaurants within short walks from the hotel. Definitely plan to return to the hotel on our next visit to Barcelona

					I was nervous about this hotel that we would not be able to find it, but they were very clear with their instructions and it was not hard at all. When we got to the second floor we were very pleasantly surprised, the hotel is smaller but extremely nice. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are gorgeous, the hotel is quiet and the air con worked great.

					This is an excellent hotel in Barcelona! The room was very clean and spacious and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The location is great for walking around the city and finding places to eat, shop, and observe the city. The hotel is secure at night behind a gate and an elevator that requires a code. If I return to Barcelona in the future I will definitely stay here again.

					I had no problems finding the hotel, but taxis don''t like to take you to the door. Instructions were very clear with their instructions and it was not hard at all to find the lobby. The staff were happy to arrange a taxi on departure that picked us up at the hotel. Our room was large, quite, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful with recommendations on were to have delicious local food. I will come back and recommend the hotel.

					Great hotel in the ideal location, with easy access to transportation and the port. Rooms are spacious, clean and have comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the heart of the Gothic district, without any of the noise late at night.Shopping and tourist attractions are very accessible.

					Wonderful hotel! I booked it last minute based on a change in travel plans. The rooms are extremely comfortable and decent size for a European hotel. The location is centrally located and walkable to a lot of attractions as well as many trains. Given that the hotel is located on a second floor only acceissible with an elevator code i felt as though it was very safe and secure. The staff even went above and beyond to help me book travel safely to and from the airport.

					This hotel is amazing. The staff went above and beyond to welcome my family (including my 3 year old son). The rooms were spotless. In the heart of the cutest part of the city, but still very quiet at night. The bathrooms were to die for! Never got to use it, but it had an enormous luxurious tub. So fab! I don’t normally like staying at the same hotel/location when I revisit cities, but when we come back to Barcelona, we will definitely be staying here.

					Stunning hotel, beautifully styled, quiet, clean and with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Ideally located in the Gothic Quarter, 5 minute walk to Liceu Metro station, Las Ramblas, Barcelona Cathedral and Mercata de la Boqueria. Would 100% recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

					Overall an excellent hotel. Close to everything, quiet, very clean, comfortable bed with crispy sheets. Very good place to stay.This is not a big deal but the shower head is too close to the wall and easily fixed. It causes you to stand right up against the wall. This is more of a note to management that this should be fixed. I did not take off stars for this because it's not something that caused great discomfort but still an annoyance.
